Linda R. Duciaume, 66, a resident of Schuyler St. Minetto, passed away August 26, 2011 at home.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late James and Rosemary (Jenkins) LaVere.
Linda worked as a Home Health Aide.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters, Michelle Sykes and Jessica Duciaume, both of Oswego; two sons, James Thorpe and Michael (Janelle) Thorpe, both of Oswego; five brothers, Nelson LaVere of Oswego; John LaVere of N.C.; Raymond (Shelly) LaVere, Daniel (Carol) LaVere and David (Priscilla) LaVere, all of Oswego; three sisters, Alice (Gene) Neild of Fulton; Gail Lindsley of Florida; Margaret “Peggy” LaVere of Oswego; nine grandchildren, Lisa Austin, Linda Thorpe, Monica Thorpe, Margaret Thorpe, Marissa Thorpe, Michael Thorpe Jr., William Crowe, Christopher Cronk and Cheyenne Ketcham; two great-grandchildren, Frank Thorpe and Brooke Austin; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Jeffrey LaVere and a sister, Connie Vivlemore.
Funeral Services will be held 1p.m. Monday at the Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held 11a.m. to 1p.m. Monday, prior to the service, at the funeral home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.
