Robert Frederick Baker

Robert Frederick Baker, 85, a resident of Town of Oswego, passed away October 2, 2013, at home.
Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late Jesse and Emma (Sill) Baker.
Robert was an auto mechanic most of his life. He learned as a young boy from his uncle, Bill Sill.
He worked for Frank Shaw and Bud Thallmann and started his own business at home at 240 Murray Street. He retired in 1990 and moved into his beloved camp in Brantingham, NY.
He was an avid fisherman and hunter, to which he taught his wife, sons, and daughter.
Surviving is his wife of 66 years, Josephine (Natoli) Baker; two sons, Robert (Lynda) Baker and William (Irene) Baker; one daughter, Bonnie (Russell) Keene; six grand children; 17 great grand children; two great great grandchildren; and one brother, George Baker.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Donald Baker; and great grandson, Joseph McCarthy.
Services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, October 7th, at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany Street, Oswego. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
