David Nearbin, 74, of Crestview Florida, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020, at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born in Oswego on August 14, 1945, to William and Julia Nearbin.  David worked for 10 years with the Oswego County Vehicle Maintenance Department and for 30 plus years he worked with several car dealerships as a service manager in the Oswego area. David loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.  Archery was a passion of his and he loved the challenge of shooting.  David loved to play the guitar too.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers William and Richard and his sisters Beverly and Dorothy.

He is survived by his wife Judith Nearbin, sons Rodney and David Nearbin, daughter Teresa Newman, sister Phyllis Johnson,  grandchildren David, Kristin, Anthony, Jordan, Amanda, and Dylan, and great-grandchild Caynen.

Judith Nearbin , 76, of Crestview Florida, passed away on May 12, 2022, in Lexington Kentucky.  Judy was born in Oswego on December 18, 1945 to the late Alfred and Ethel Meeker.  She was a loving wife for 56 years to the late David Nearbin, Sr.  She was a beloved homemaker to her family and also worked several clerical and retail jobs over the years.  Judy loved spending time with family and friends, she enjoyed large family gatherings and was active in her church.  She also liked gardening and tending to her plants and flowers.

Judy will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons, Rodney (Lisa) Nearbin and David (Sandy) Nearbin Jr., daughter Teresa Newman, sisters Dawn Clark and Sharon Muroski, brothers John (Louise) Meeker and Tom (Jackie) Meeker, sisters in law Phyllis Johnson and Sharon Moore, grandchildren David and Kristen Nearbin, Anthony and Jordan Rios and Mandy and Dylan Nearbin, and great-grandchildren Caynen Taylor and Zaylah Lear, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband David, Judy was preceded in death by her sister Barbara Walter and brother Chuck Meeker.

Graveside services for both David and Judith Nearbin will be held at Nine O'Clock, on Saturday, July 23, 2022,  at Oswego Town Rural Cemetery.
