F. Michael Walker, 75, of Oswego, died August 14, 2019.

Born in Watertown, NY, he was the son of the late Robert and Teresa (Lawson) Walker.

He retired from Constellation Energy. Michael was a High School Basketball ref for both the boys and girls teams. He also enjoyed playing softball and was a fast-pitch pitcher for many years. He also enjoyed gardening and the Detroit Red Wings. He was active in the Church of the Resurrection.

Surviving are his wife, Karen (Canale) Walker; daughters Renee (Alvin) Masongsong, of Clarkstown, NY; Teresa Heagerty of Liverpool; sons Scott (Leslie) Walker and Christopher (Laura) Walker, both of Concord, N.C.; a step-son Jeffrey (Casandra) Baldwin of Oswego; brothers Robert (June) Walker of Chaumount Bay, N.Y.; William (Ellen) Walker of Myerstown, PA; Allen Walker of Cape Vincent, N.Y.; grandchildren, Meghan, Evan, Allisyn, Christina, Connor, Ariel, Brody, Gwenn and Shane; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a nephew Rob Walker.

Funeral Services will be held 11AM Friday, August 23rd at the Church of the Resurrection, 120 West Fifth Street Oswego. There are no calling hours. Nelson Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
