John A. Schwarz, 92, formerly of Scriba, passed away on January 31, 2021, in Auburn.

Born in North Scriba, he was the son of the late Stanely and Jenny Aline (May) Sweet.

Mr. Schwarz was a proud veteran.  He served in the United States Air Force from 1946-1949.

John was an Electronics Technician and was employed by the US Air Force and General Electric.

Mr. Schwarz is survived by his children Wendy (Scott) Young of Auburn, Craig (Sharon) Schwarz of Churchville, Eleanor (Daniel) Mahaney of Auburn, and Susan (Mark) Garrigan of Auburn; also many grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and step-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Fern in 2016.

Graveside services for John and Fern will be held in North Scriba Cemetery on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Two O'Clock. Military Honors will be rendered.
