Lillian C. Macy

On Monday July 22, 2019, Heaven welcomed Lillian Heiner Macy. She crossed over the veil at the home of her daughter, surrounded by love at the tender age of 83.

Lillian was born on July 30, 1935 to George and Catherine (Lucey) Heiner in Queens, New York. In August 1954, she married her high school sweetheart, Robert Macy who predeceased her a year ago. She was the mother of four children, three of whom greeted her in heaven: Robert F. Macy, Carole Macy and Kenneth Macy. She is survived by her daughter Ellen (Charles) Gerberich, eight grandchildren: James (Carrie) Knight, Megan Barnes, Kaya (Eric ) Miller, Daniel (Natalie) Knight, Charissa (Will) Knight, Helen (Nick) Dubov, Hana (Jake) Muller, Lilann (Billy) Macy and 10 great grandchildren.

She was a resident of Fort Myers Florida for the last 40 years where she worked as Real Estate broker for many years. Lillian was a watercolor artist and was a member of Fort Myers Beach Art Association.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Saint Jude Catholic Church, Fair Haven NY. In lieu of flowers, please go out and make a special memory with your family because that's what really matters. Nelson Funeral Home has care of her arrangements.
