Lumina Spedding, 88, of Oswego, died on August 28, 2022.

Born July 16, 1934, in Terrebonne, MN, Lumina was the daughter of the late Evan and Rose (Gagner) Paradis.

She married Harry Spedding on September 17, 1955, and moved to Minetto, NY, shortly thereafter. In 1959, she and Harry moved to Granby Center to raise her family of five.

Lumina loved to travel, gamble and play bingo. She loved her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed all her time spent with them.

Surviving are her children Cheryl (Dennis) Coulter, Mike (Stephanie) Spedding, Dave (Michelle Bateman) Spedding, Paul (Karla) Spedding and Thomas (Karen) Spedding, her siblings Bernard Paradis and Laurette Quinlan, ten grandchildren Jessica, Crystal, Nathan, Amie, Michael, Nikki, Laura, David, Calie and Ben, and 16 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Lumina was predeceased by her husband Harry and siblings Florence, Eraine, Theodore, Agnes, Oliver, Adeline, Roman, and Rene.

Graveside Services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at St. Peter Cemetery.
