Mike Francis Alfieri, 63, of Oswego, passed away on July 1, 2026.

Born in Oswego, he was the son of Louise (Schneider) Alfieri and the late Ignazio "Fran" Alfieri.

Mike was a graduate of Oswego High School.  He worked in maintenance at the State University of New York, Oswego for many years.

He was very mechanically inclined and had a lifelong passion for race cars. Gifted at building, repairing, and maintaining them, he found his true calling working with engines and race cars. He also had a deep love for his dogs.  Known for his meticulous nature, he took great pride in keeping his truck in immaculate condition.

Mike is survived by his loving mother Louise, his sister Susanne Alfieri, brother Joseph Alfieri (Beth Kesler), his nephew Joseph Alfieri Jr., and his very best friend John Colloca.

Mike was preceded in death by his father Ignazio Alfieri.

There will be no calling hours.

A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am on July 10, 2026, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Minetto.
