Retha H. Gibson passed to a new life on January 3 ^rd 2022, at the age of 96. She was a resident of Oswego, NY. She was predeceased by her husband Keith M. Gibson of Oswego, NY, her granddaughter Emily M. Gibson of Edmond, Oklahoma, and her brothers and sisters all of Lewistown, Pennsylvania: Harry Young, Jimmy Young, Joey Young, Ronnie Young, Mildred Young, Delorus Hartley, Jackie Herto, Jack Yetter and Clarence Young.

She is survived by her son Keith R. Gibson, his wife Brandi Gibson of Edmond, Oklahoma, and her grandchildren Robin Gibson of Boulder, Colorado, Kyle R. Gibson and his wife, Victoria, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Ethan Cope of Edmond, Oklahoma.

Retha was active in the Salvation Army in her youth. She met her future husband when he visited his aunt, Doris Atwell, who was a salvation army officer in Lewistown, Pennsylvania for the summer. During her lifetime, she was a homemaker and also employed as a secretary at the Sealright Company Plant in Fulton, New York, and a bank teller with the Russell National Bank of Lewistown, Pennsylvania.

There will be no services and interment will be at a later date. Arrangments are under the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home.
