We are sad to say Wendy Hamilton, 61, of Oswego passed away with her loved ones around her on September 22, 2024.

Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of Richard Sr. and Marylou (Vanelinder) Winn.

Wendy hosted hair dyeing parties and sometimes discovered that the color doesn't always come out right. She also enjoyed swimming, playing cards, dice, and baking. Wendy loved being around and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

Wendy is survived by her daughter Patricia Hamilton of Oswego,  and 2 grandchildren Zachary and Mary Hamilton. She is also survived by her brother Richard Winn Jr. and several nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Wendy was preceded in death by her brother Edward Winn,  and 2 sisters Laurie Searor and Theresa Hoffman and a grandson T.J. Hamilton.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday,  October 3, from 10:00 to 11:30 at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St. Oswego. A service will follow at 11:30.  Arrangements are under the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home.
